1. Pick an event that is happening and in the news during the week of your assignment.
2. Pick an event that you best understand and can connect with.
3. On Friday you will report to your class: What event happened? Who was involved? Why is this event important for us (in 5th grade) to know about?
4. Ask Miss K if you need help printing or reading news articles.
5. You may use a current newspaper or one of the websites below to look for your news article. (Remember, you may NOT report about celebrities, movies, or television shows.)
